NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
Notice is hereby given that the Burt County Board of Supervisors will hold Public Hearings beginning at 9:30 a.m. on March 11, 2026 in the County Boardroom on the 2nd floor of the Courthouse at Tekamah, NE. The purpose of the Public Hearings is to consider Conditional Use Permit application:
26-04CUP for Layne Miller – to place a temporary Branch of Battle Creek State Bank known as Creekside State Bank at L3 SE4SW4 & L4 SW4SW4 Sec 33, TWP 22N, Rge 8E (OAKLAND TWP) 4 AC zoned as A-1.
Public Hearing will also be held to consider updating the following in Burt County Zoning Regulations:
(i) Update Abandonment in the Definitions to include timelines;
(ii) Remove that CUP’s must be filed with the Register of Deeds;
(iii) Update Matrix to include Banks in A-1.
